Encuentro de dos Mundos

Octubre llega con múltiples conmemoraciones y queremos compartir la alegría de las experiencias en las que participan y aprenden nuestros estudiantes. A continuación, presentamos el acto “Encuentro de dos Mundos”, a cargo del cuarto año básico de nuestro colegio y su profesora jefe Marion Mena.
En un trabajo colaborativo nuestros estudiantes narran, cantan y dramatizan sobre esta significativa instancia, que hoy fortalece el concepto de diversidad cultural.
“La humanidad ha habitado todos los rincones del mundo, y los grupos de personas han desarrollado las distintas culturas que hoy en día forman un mosaico rico y variado. La diversidad cultural resultante amplía las alternativas; alimenta diversas capacidades, valores humanos y cosmovisiones; y permite que la sabiduría del pasado nos prepare para el futuro. La diversidad cultural puede impulsar el desarrollo sostenible de los individuos, comunidades y países. Por tanto, es un deber para las nuevas generaciones abordar el respeto, la protección y la conservación de la diversidad del mundo ahora y en el futuro.”
Como comunidad destacamos la importancia de esta conmemoración comprendiendo al concepto de diversidad desde el enfoque de la integralidad.
October arrives with multiple commemorations, and we want to share the happiness of the experiences in which our students participate and learn. Then, we present the act of “Encuentro de Dos Mundos”, in charge of the fourth grade of our school and its head teacher Marion Mena.
In a collaborative work, our students narrate, sing, and dramatize about this significant instance, which build up the concept of cultural diversity.
“Humanity has inhabited all over the world, and groups of people have developed different cultures that nowadays form a rich and varied mosaic. The resulting cultural diversity broadens choices; it nurtures diverse capabilities, human values, and worldviews; and it allows the wisdom of the past to prepares us for the future. Cultural diversity can boost the sustainable development of individuals, communities, and countries. Thus, it is a duty for new generations to approach the respect, protection, and the preservation of the world’s diversity now and in the future”. As community, we highlight the importance of this commemoration understanding the concept of diversity from the approach of the integrality.
