Mes de Concientización del Cáncer de Mamas

Octubre es el mes dedicado a la concientización del cáncer de mamas y nuestro establecimiento no pudo estar ajeno a esta instancia de compromiso y responsabilidad hacia la salud. Siendo la primera causa de muerte en Chile, la comunidad del Colegio Puerto Montt, dirigido por el Departamento de Convivencia Escolar propone una iniciativa inclusiva hacia la comunidad de nuestro colegio, y nuestra ciudad en general.
Dentro de las actividades de prevención y concientización que se realizaron se encuentra como preámbulo a nuestras acciones planificadas la difusión de información a través de nuestros canales de comunicación formales página y redes sociales.
Nuestras actividades inician con un conversatorio dirigido a padres, apoderados, estudiantes, docentes y comunidad en general. La iniciativa liderada por la Profesional de la salud Sra. Madelinne Hernández Ortega, logra participación de un significativo grupo de asistentes, quienes lograron comprender con mayor significancia los alcances y desarrollo de esta enfermedad. La actividad que siguió a este primer encuentro se desarrolló en espacios públicos de la ciudad de Puerto Montt, plaza y centro cívico de la ciudad, una representación de estudiantes, docentes, asistentes de la educación dirigidos por Directora de Convivencia Escolar Srta. Casandra González Mansilla entregan folletos informativos y claveles rosados a la comunidad puertomontina. Cabe destacar que esta actividad fue también difundida por medios de prensa locales, quienes apoyaron y enaltecieron la actividad, en favor de crear vínculos desde nuestra unidad educativa hacia la población de nuestra ciudad.
Importante destacar el orgullo que como unidad educativa sentimos, de liderar una campaña en beneficio del conocimiento de un tema de salud vital en nuestro país. El Colegio Puerto Montt se hace parte de esta actividad como manera de crear lazos que favorecen nuestra relación con la comunidad puertomontina en general.
October is the month dedicated to breast cancer awareness and our establishment could not be oblivious to this instance of commitment and responsibility towards health. Being the leading cause of death in Chile, the Puerto Montt School community, directed by the School Coexistence Department, proposes an inclusive initiative towards the community of our school, and our city in general.
Among the prevention and awareness activities that were carried out, the dissemination of information through our formal communication channels page and social networks were found as a preamble to our planned actions.
Our activities began with a discussion aimed at parents, guardians, students, teachers and the community in general. The initiative led by the health professional Mrs. Madelinne Hernández Ortega, achieved the participation of a significant group of attendees, who managed to understand with greater significance the scope and development of this disease. The activity that followed this first meeting took place in public spaces in the city of Puerto Montt, a plaza and civic center of the city, where a representation of students, teachers, education assistants led by Director of School Coexistence Ms. Casandra González Mansilla delivered informational brochures and pink carnations to the community of our city. It should be noted that this activity was also disseminated by local press media, who supported and praised the activity, in favor of creating links from our educational unit to the population of Puerto Montt .
It is important to highlight the pride that as an educational unit we feel, to lead a campaign to benefit the knowledge of a vital health issue in our country. The Puerto Montt School is part of this activity as a way to create ties that favor our relationship with the city community in general.
